A Scriptural Rosary continued: The Fifth Joyful Mystery.

Review here and here. Another review here, along with the first Joyful mystery.

Let us pray the fifth Joyful Mystery.

Begin
"The fifth Joyful Mystery: Mary and Joseph find Jesus in the temple."

Now, pray one Our Father on bead 52, and pray one Hail Mary with its Bible verse(s)* on each of the beads marked 53-62.

Our Father

Now His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.  And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the Feast. (Luke 2:41, 42 TMB)
Hail Mary…

And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and His mother knew not of it.  But they, supposing Him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought Him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances. (Luke 2:43, 44 TMB)
Hail Mary

And when they found Him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking Him. (Luke 2:45 TMB)
Hail Mary

And it came to pass that after three days they found Him in the Temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them and asking them questions. (Luke 2:46 TMB)
Hail Mary

And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. (Luke 2:47 TMB)
Hail Mary

And when they saw Him they were amazed, and His mother said unto Him, "Son, why hast Thou thus dealt with us?  Behold, Thy father and I have sought Thee sorrowing." (Luke 2:48 TMB)
Hail Mary

And He said unto them, "How is it that ye sought Me?  Knew ye not that I must be about My Father's business?" (Luke 2:49 TMB)
Hail Mary

And they understood not the saying which He spake unto them. (Luke 2:50 TMB)
Hail Mary

And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them.  But His mother kept all these things in her heart. (Luke 2:51 TMB)
Hail Mary

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52 KJV)
Hail Mary

After you've said the above, either keep your fingers on the last bead (#62), or move them to the space between this and the next position (77, 78, 79, 80, 81and pray the Glory Be:

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

To close, make the sign of the cross. (In the future, I'll have the closing prayers of the rosary listed.)

*In a traditional rosary, one prays 10 Hail Mary's in a decade, which is why some of these have two or three verses listed. But you can pray 1 verse and 1 Hail Mary at a time. If you did so with the above, you would have a "decade" of 12, which is fine. The rosary is an aid to prayer. It is a means, not an end, and you can alter it to make it a more useful aid.
